Garry Kasparov on Innovation.

This is what Garry Kasparov, Former World Class Chess Champion have on say on the Innovation.

– It requires more than knowledge and experience. For constant change to happen, the youth of today and leaders- must innovate.

-” You must believe that to create something new is important. You must believe in the need to take risks and believe in changing the world”.
He warned that people must either change or they dinosaurs, suggesting that we could always use our competition and every challenge to improve our growth.

- He talks about,
Vertical Innovation: Creation of something new.
Horizontal Innovation: Improving on things that already exist.
The important point he emphasis was that vertical innovation meant new growth while horizontal would lead to eventual death. We may enjoy the benefits of horizontal innovation but Vertical innovation -new technologies, new methods, new risky ventures- are driving the world forward.

For YOU to make a Difference by Being the Difference.
